What we do ...

The African Equality Foundation is a network of African LGBTQ+ activists who campaign for justice. We have helped many asylum seekers to secure protection in the UK by creating awareness of the ongoing persecution in their countries. 

Edwin, our founder, has led the charge in securing protection for many LGBTQ+ individuals who have fled their home countries due to persecution. We are passionate about fight for the rights of all LGBTQ+ individuals, regardless of where they come from. Our foundation is built on compassion and we will continue to fight for justice until every person is free to love who they want, without fear.
